Brother KX350 and KH400

I sold these two machines as a pair.

You will note that these machines use the same row counters, tension masts, needles etc.
The main reason for selling the two together is that the carriage that belongs to the KH400 (has an intarsia feature) will work on the KX 350 to provide the intarsia carriage for it.
The KH400 is the convertible--it changes from a 4.5mm standard gauge machine to a 9mm bukly machine with a simple changing of 4 pieces on the front of the bed. One of the pictures shows the two different pieces with one removed to show the simplicity of changing these pieces.
The KX350 is a 7mm Midgauge machine.
With these 2 machines you have all three size ranges in lightweight easy-to-tote machines in their own boxes with carry handles. These are perfect for the traveller or motorhome user. Together they weigh less than 25 pounds complete with all tools and boxes.
The Convertible machine is no longer made so is getting difficult to find.

Has Intarsia facility. This carriage can be used on the KX350 as the intarsia carriage for that machine.
Picture shows the pieces of the bed of the machine that are easily removed and changed to change the machine from the standard gauge to bulky gauge. Shown with one piece removed and one of each of the standard and bulky needlebed pieces.
